Hartford, Conn. D. F. Robinson and H. F. Sumner 1935 Second Printing Leather Very Good 
Blindstamped leather gilt simulated bands, title, and volume numbers on spines. Vol. I, 736 pages plus engraved maps, illustrations, frontispiece; Vol. II, pp. 737-1440 plus engraved maps, illustrations, folded colored map (one half is missing) in front of engraved frontispiece pages. Bindings and sewn spines solid; some stress at bottom of first few sheets of Vol. I; last two blank pages of Vol. II, pulled loose. 4 Family Record pages with birth, death, marriage dates, especially prominent are Gannett and Farley and Stinson families, also patterson, Church, Upton, Chase, Graig, and Dennis family names; Bath and Woolwich and Augusta; birth dates from the early 1700's, death dates to the end of the 19th century, marriage records from 1826-1880. The two volumes set was given to Bangor Theological Seminary by James Gannett, and each volume has a bookplate inside the front cover. The volumes were not circulated. Some rubbing of leather, some foxing of endpapers. Otherwise unmarked, clean, generally attractive set ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall
